He was predeceased by: his stepfather Gary Ringham; and his granddaughter Catherine. He is survived by: his parents, Wayne "Skip" Short and Regina Ringham (Thomas); his children, Brandon, Kristina, Ariel, Mark Jr. and East; his siblings, Paul Short (LeeAnn) of Mandan, Gary Ringham (A. J.) of Fargo, William Ringham (Rebecca) of Minot, Darla Flake (Frank) of Titusville, FL, Pam Baker (Doug) of Bentley, KS and Deborah Ringham of Minot; and his granddaughter Nova. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
