It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lysle Dean Martinson of East Grand Forks, Minnesota, who passed away on February 14, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ole Martinson and Hazel Martinson (Erickson); his siblings, Marlyn, Dale (Alvina), Lowell and Arlene Holter (Alvin); and his son Jerry Hogan.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Martinson; his children, Rick Hogan (Ronda) of Grand Forks and JoLynn Dickson (Bill) of Gilby; his stepchildren, Karen Melquist (Dick), Sheryl Tinkham (Reed), Tom Christianson of Columbia Falls, MT, Kevin Christianson (Kim) of Soldotna, AK, Linda Sutton (Will) of Minneapolis, MN and Lisa Buth (Rich) of Pelican Rapids, MN; his sister Marjorie Howell (family: Josie Sanches, Mari, Nathan Nuñez) of Laurel, MT; and his sisters-in-law, Erma Martinson of Minot and Lelia Martinson of Fargo, ND. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
