She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Brownell and Marian Brownell (Riske); and her brother Jerry. She is survived by: her husband Mark Kotrba; her sons, Curtis Kotrba (Krissy) of Grand Forks and Kevin Kotrba (Jess) of Grand Forks; her grandchildren, Kaytlin, Addison, Marcus and Carson Kotrba; and her brother Jerome Brownell (Ting) of Shakopee, MN..

In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be sent to the Hospice of the Red River Valley.
