It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Patricia Barrett of East Grand Forks, Minnesota, who passed away on November 21, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Aardahl and Julia Aardahl (Aarhus); and her siblings, Margaret Brandon, Norman, Henry, Leslie, Clay and Maynard Aardahl.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Barrett (Marilyn), David Barrett (Karen) of Sammamish, WA, John Barrett (Janice), Carolyn Resendez (Carlos) of San Antonio, TX, Glenn Barrett (Cindy) of Warren, MN and Sandra Burda (Paul); her grandchildren, Josh Barrett (Stephanie), Sarah Gustafson (Aaron), Elizabeth Barrett, Katie Holzhueter (Lucas), Jeffrey Hanson, Rebecah Boeckman (Matthew), Anna Bryl (Jared), Timothy Barrett, Erin Barrett, Andrew Barrett (Stacia), Monica Nalbach (Robert), Emily Barrett, Elissa Resendez, Gabriel Resendez, Marisa Moravia (Alberto), Garrett Corlis, McKenna Cosottile (David) and Breanne Recore (Chris); her great grandchildren, Alexandra, Ronin, Blakely, Bristol, Briar, Jordan, Nora, Vada, Croix, Natalie, Henry, Isaac, Jackson, Clara and Luca; and her sister-in-law Marie "Toots" Barrett. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
