He was predeceased by: his parents, John S. Garry and Anne Beller Garry; his wife Marilyn A. "Lynn" Bartz; and his parents-in-law, Alfred and Gladys Bartz.
He is survived by: his sons, Patrick Garry of Grand Forks, ND and Michael Garry (Kit Brady) of Minneapolis, MN; his granddaughters, Hannah of Decorah, IA and Caroline of Minneapolis; his great grandchildren, Michelle Tack and Barbara (Jerry Ward) of Minnetrista, MN.; his sister-in-law Judy Dugan (Dan) of Ventura, CA; and also, Bradley, Nathan, Ashley, Samantha of London, England and Riley of Dallas. He is also survived by extended family; and many friends.
