He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cariveau and Myrtle Cariveau (Bakken); his siblings, Duane, Charles Cariveau and Patricia Iverson; and his siblings-in-law, Denise Cariveau, Margaret Cariveau and Kenneth Sandbeck.
He is survived by: his wife Joellen Cariveau; his children, Adam Cariveau (Carrie), Joseph Cariveau (Rachael) of Simpsonville, SC and Jackie Hall (Aaron); his grandchildren, Mckenzie, Morgan, Oscar, Ronan and Emmerson; his siblings, Gary Cariveau (Sheryl), Daniel Cariveau, Wanda Sandbeck and Steven Cariveau (Sue) of Ponsford, MN; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Cariveau of Austin, MN, Gail Cariveau and Arnold Iverson.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for any donations to go to Sacred Heart School or the East Grand Forks food shelf.
