He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Erma Hegge (Thompson) and Orris Hegge; his siblings, Donald Hegge and Elizabeth "Betty"; his brother-in-law Larry Overgaard; his nephews, Steven and Ethan Hegge; and his niece Heather Beiswenger.
He is survived by: his wife Laura Louise Johnson; his children, Kathleen Ellen (Eric) of Lawrenceville, GA, Donald Hegge of Fargo, ND and Mark Hegge (Tami Watson) of Grand Forks, ND; his grandchildren, Shannon Olson, Colleen Olson, Nicholas Hegge and Alicia Ihlan; and his siblings, Kenneth Hegge of Mentor, MN, Carole Beiswenger (Roger) of Fisher, MN and David Hegge of Eldred, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
