He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Burton and Marion Burton (Deziel); and his brother Dale Burton (Sherry). He is survived by: his wife Donna Burton (Vonasek); his children, Lynne Heffernan (Jon), Shelly Walsh (Brian) of Badger, MN and Kim Garske (Nate) of Fargo, ND; and his grandchildren, Emily (Gunnar), Cole, Katie, Grace (Jayden), Aidan, Steele, Finn, Embry, Irelan, Burton and Callen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
