He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Elgin and Margaret Elgin (Sibley); his son Shad; his grandsons, Jake, Elisha and Sebastian; his siblings, Darlene Olen, Lenard and Robert; and his siblings-in-law, Ben and Cathy.
He is survived by: his wife Teri Carlin; his children, Shane Elgin (Laura), Shannon Steichen (Scott), Sarah Kano-Melchisedech (Kevin) and Samuel Elgin (Chantal); his siblings, Betty McCoy, Clarence, Donald (Beth) and Tom (Marla); and his siblings-in-law, Vic Youle and Arlene. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions there will be a small service held at the South Isanti Baptist Church on the 3 day of October in the year 2020 at 2pm for immediate family and few friends.
