It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Kirkvold of Eagle Lake, Minnesota, who passed away on June 2, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ole Erickson and Ida Erickson (Christopherson); her husband John Kirkvold; her siblings, Irene Fadness, Lillian Boe, Mary Moe, Florence Moe, Bertha Smith, Ruth Smith, Carl and Selmar; and her nephew Fredrick.
She is survived by: her children, Eugene Kirkvold (Cindy) of Battle Lake, Cynthia Shippee of Fergus Falls, Jeffrey Kirkvold (Kim) of Battle Lake and Debra Kaasa of Fergus Falls; and her grandchildren, Christen Lillis (Christine), Coralene Guhlke (Mike), Heidi Shippee (Adam Dvorak), Gretchen Shippee (Peter Oliver), Emily Hessling, Gina Kaasa (Liz), Andy Kaasa (Toni Gbai), Melissa Rocholl (Dean), Bill Kirkvold (Rebecca) and Danelle Formo. She is also survived by twenty-three great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; and by numerous relatives and friends.
