She was predeceased by: her parents, Hedwig Weimar and Frank Weimar; her husband Donald Thompson; her son David Beck; her stepchildren, Jerry Thompson and Judy Pringle; and her siblings, Robert Weimar and Bernadine Faltersack.
She is survived by: her children, Virginia Lien (Lon) of Worthington, MN, Catherine Sieberg (Jim) of Madison Lake, MN, Nancy Beadell of Mankato, MN, Marilyn Pierce (Randy) of Janesville, MN and Dennis Thompson of Janesville, MN; her stepson Tom Thompson (Becky) of Waterville, MN; her stepdaughter-in-law Connie Thompson of New Ulm, MN; and her sister-in-law Delores Weimar of Mankato, MN. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, many great and great -great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mankato Mortuary (1001 N Riverfront Dr, Mankato, MN 56001). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
