He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Hawker and Lillia Hawker (Rudolph); his wife Darlene Lenertz; and his in-laws, Fred and Mary Lenertz.
He is survived by: his children, Damian Hawker (Jen) of North Mankato and Danielle Timm (Eric) of North Mankato; his grandchildren, Garrett Timm and Emma Lyons; and his brother Ronald Hawker (Sharon) of North Mankato.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Woodland Hills Funeral Home (1605 Woodland Ave, Mankato, MN 56001). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Woodland Hills Chapel (1605 Woodland Ave, Mankato, MN 56001).
