She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kortuem and Delores Kortuem; her son Dean; her son-in-law Robert Tangen; and her siblings, Marge Leslie, Norma Styke, Loren, Kenneth Kortuem and Linda Proell.
She is survived by: her husband Art Michels of Osakis; her children, Kevin Michels of St. Cloud, Dianne Karnes (Rocky) of Osakis, Jodi Tangen of St. Cloud, Scott of Osakis and Todd Michels of Osakis; and her sister Joan Motzko (Roger) of Bloomington. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
