She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ecklund and Alice Ecklund (Upton); her husband Charles Berkness; and her siblings, John Ecklund and Laura Ecklund.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Berkness (Rochelle) of Eagle Bend, Paul Berkness of Eagle Bend, Beverly Snyder of Eagle Bend, Carla Dickinson of Clarissa and Barbara Kleine (Shawn) of Western, NE; and her siblings, Richard Ecklund of Butte, MT, Robert Ecklund (Joyce) of Dassel, Barbara Swenson (Dick) of Ronon, MT and Jeanette Fallon (Louis) of Darwin, MN. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
