She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schraut and Agnes Schraut (Otremba); her husband Frank Firkus; her children, James, Roseanne and Rita; and her grandchildren, Jason and Kayla.
She is survived by: her children, John of Bloomington, Michael (Patricia) of Sauk Centre, Karen Olson (Larry) of Alexandria, Marie Katterhagen (Dale) of Browerville, Deborah Ridley (Gary) of Columbia Heights and Sharon Valley (John) of Howard Lake; and her grandchildren, Joseph Firkus (Sarah), Mathew Katterhagen (Hayley), David Olson (Julie), Bethany Lohse (Reid), Jessica Navratil-Strawn (Luke), Joshua Firkus (Jackie), Grant Olson (Maria), Jamie Gassmann (Andy), Luke Katterhagen, John Valley (Sarah), Chad Firkus and Kaitlyn Gunderson.
