He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil and Luella; his sisters, Lila Murch (Bob), Marge Hess (Leo) and Marlys Christensen (Don); his brother-in-law Everette "Sonny" Johnson; and his sister Myrna Johnson of Eagle Bend.
He is survived by: his wife Joan of Alexandria; and his children, Barbara Gimbel (Bill) and Lyndon Reierson (Lori Anderson). He is also survived by six grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
