He was predeceased by: his wife Aileen; his parents, Joseph Snyder and Lillie Snyder; and his siblings, Margorie, Meyer Lande, June and Norman Corson.
He is survived by: his children, Michael, Mary, Dianne, David, Henni and Daniel Ettedgui; his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Graham, Gaol, Matthew, Nova, Aviv and Michelle (Daniel); and his great grandchildren, Ava and Meital.
