She was predeceased by: her husband Robert N. Katz; her parents, Charles Bierman and Irene Bierman (Boosel); her stepmother Leontine Bierman (Robitschek); and her son Richard N. Katz.
She is survived by: her children, Barry Katz (Esther Granbois) and Geri Katz (Brian Elliott); her grandsons, Ravi and Charlie; and her brother Laurence Bierman (Anita). She is also survived by nieces; nephews; grand-nieces.
Memorials preferred to the Mitzvah Food Shelf of Mount Zion Temple, Neighborhood House, or Washburn High School Foundation.
