He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Lee Hansen (Fremont); his daughter Inger Hansen Elliott; his son-in-law Jason Elliott of Eagan, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Max Corona and Emerson Corona; and his siblings-in-law, Darrell and Ann Fremont of Des Moines, Iowa..
In lieu of memorials, the family would prefer a donation to the University of Northern Iowa School of Music, Student Scholarship Foundation.
