He was predeceased by: his father Rodney Hassing; and his stepfather Donald Carlson. He is survived by: his mother Janice Carlson; his caregiver Jean Zacharias; his sisters, Laurie McCullum, Amy Griffin (Jack) and Jennifer Nelson (Tony); his nephews, Michael McCullum, Alexander Griffin, Calvin Griffin (Brittney), Benjamin Nelson (Alexa) and Jacob Nelson; his niece Amanda Nelson; and his great-nieces, Joie Sanchez and Tatum Griffin.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (13900 Biscayne Ave, Rosemount, MN 55068). A burial will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Dawn Valley Memorial Park (9940 Bush Lake Rd, Bloomington, MN 55438).
Memorials are preferred to World Vision, Cancer Research Institute, American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge in Rochester, MN, or St. Joseph Catholic Church.
