He was predeceased by: his wife Patsy Ruth (Meade); his parents, Richard Francis and Mary Evelyn of Belle Plaine, MN; his brothers, Patrick and Kenneth; and his son-in-law Mark Caird.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Shane (Carly), Michelle (Brian), Matt (Katie), Amanda, Marissa (Andrew), Mitch, Jake, Luke, Brianna and Ashlyn; his great grandchildren, Ben, James, Jemma, Cameron and Helena; and his siblings, JoAnne Sullivan, Helen Connelly, Maryann O'Brien, Kathy Hehl and Richard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
