It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick Peter Tanzer Jr. of Eagan, Minnesota, born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, who passed away on June 10, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Tanzer and Marguerite Tanzer; and his former wife Joan Tanzer. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Higgins-Tanzer; his sister Joan Gennaro (Gene); his children, Kelly Tanzer, Julie Taylor and Steve Tanzer (Margaret); his grandchildren, Kristen Lindberg (Andy), Erin Lewerenz, Sara Akason (Trevor), Julia Tanzer, Mitchell Higgins (Sarah), Patrick Higgins (Brittiny Wright), Molly Hansen (Jack), Maddy Burke (Zach) and Sydney Higgins (Tristan DeMorrett); and also, Michael Higgins (Jackie), David Higgins (Maria) and Mary Jo Higgins. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
