He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Olson and Dorothy Olson; his former wife Dawn L. Olson; and his siblings, Wanda and Terry.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Rasmussen; his children, Debra Honsey, Tracie Carlson and Cody Olson; his grandchildren, Spencer, Joseph (Stephanie), Nichole, Jacquelyn and Macy; his great grandchildren, Malia, Julian, Delton and Andrew (Hailey); his great great grandchildren, Jackson, Wyatt, Isabella and Jameson; his stepdaughters, Kris Minar (Steve) and Karin Warner; his stepgrandchildren, Hannah, Madison, Zachary and Davis; and his sister Beth Hallen. He is also survived by neighbors, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Northwoods Humane Society, or donate to Easter Lutheran's Foundation for Youth Scholarships.
