He is survived by: his wife Marina Farber; his children, Nadia, Tina, Artur, Tarek Abboud, Dan Syrstad and Narina Farber; and his grandchildren, Denis Shtern, Valeria, David Farber, Leo Farber, Boris Smelov, Michael Slutsky and Colin Syrstad.
