He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Jonas; and his brother Chris Jonas. He is survived by: his children, Briana Jonas (Anthony), Nicholas Jonas (Lexie) of Brooklyn, NY, Megan Jonas (Joe) of Belle Plaine, Greta Jonas (Conor) of London, UK and Bjorn Jonas of Narvik; his mother Judith Jonas (Rupert) of Belle Plaine; his siblings, Chuck Jonas of Belle Plaine, Diane Dietering (Mike) of Belle Plaine and Mark Jonas (Sheila) of Columbia Heights; his former wife Kathleen Geng Jonas; and his wife Katie Neseth Jonas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials to the Xerces Society are preferred.
