He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond D. Trahan, Sr. and Ardel (Woods); and his brother Larry Trahan. He is survived by: his spouse Joan Budenske; his children, Lisa Evert (Chuck) and Dean Trahan (Hope); his grandchildren, Jill Evert, Ashley Trahan and Kaitlyn Trahan; and his sisters, Mary Bess of Dundas, Pewee Bess of Dundas, Christensen Bess of Dundas, Sharon Bess of Dundas, Kinard Bess of Dundas and Tammy Bess of Dundas.
