He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Kolb and Hazel Kolb (Welch); and his sister Bonnie. He is survived by: his children, Lynall Malecha (Mike) of Northfield, Wade Kolb (Bonnie) of Dundas and Corinne Legare (Charlie) of Northfield; his grandchildren, Anna Wagner (Justin), Alexandra Bornhauser (Nick), Delton Kolb, Cassidy Kolb, Grant Kolb, Anaiah Legare and Sophia Legare; his great grandchildren, Harrison, Nolan, Lillian and Brynn; his siblings, Bev Smith of Northfield, Donald (Mary) of Northfield and Paul Albers (Donna) of Faribault; and his pets, Duke, Gunner, Buddy and Tink.

Memorials are preferred to Groveland Cemetery in Dundas.
