He was predeceased by: his parents, Abner Akey and Stella Akey (Bosnell); and his parents-in-law, Lloyd and Ethel Tupper. He is survived by: his wife Marlys Tupper of Dundas; his children, Deb Little (Peter) of Dundas and Bruce Akey of Dundas; his grandchildren, Aaron Little (Melissa) of Dundas, Derek Little (Erin) of Colman, SD, Hailey Akey of Dundas and Alex Akey of Dundas; his great grandchildren, Brody and Ali Little; and his sister-in-law Pat Soberg (Dale) of Shakopee. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
