He was predeceased by: his father Marvin Sasse; and his sister Dianne. He is survived by: his wife Jan (Jan) of Randolph, MN; his children, Michael Sasse (Sawyer) of Minneapolis, MN and Julie Dahlin (John) of Sioux Falls, SD; and his grandchildren, Calvin, Alandra, Emelia and Colton. He is also survived by many family and friends, and the other love of his life.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Hosanna Church (205 2nd St S, Dundas, MN 55019). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
