He was predeceased by: his parents, John Oswald and Blanche Oswald (Herstad); his brother-in-law Larry Kuberra; and his nephew John Kuberra. He is survived by: his wife Martha Oswald; his children, Megan Pike (Joe) of Hermantown and Phillip Oswald (Bailey) of Grand Forks, ND; his grandchildren, Gavin and Hazel Pike; and his siblings, Joan Kuberra, John Oswald (Pat), Betty Lawson (Ken), Sue Anderson (Bob), Jim Oswald (Lois) and Lois Hon (Tom).
