He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Merle and Dorothy Smith; and his siblings, Edward Gary, Richard, Stephen and Shelley.
He is survived by: his brothers, Jay, Brian (Cindy) and Jeffrey; his niece Melinda; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Takota, BettyMae and Lucas.
