He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Sitek (Swedish) and Martin Dahlberg; his wife Kathleen Dahlberg; and his brother-in-law Jodie Wagner. He is survived by: his cousin Joe Sitek; his brother Eric (Jeannie); his children, Renee Dahlberg, Jon Hoof, Steven Dahlberg, Doreen Cherniske, Eric and Jeannie Dahlberg; his grandchildren, Rachel, Abby, Annabelle, Eliza Bee, Gina and Kirk; his children, Michael and Laura; his great grandchildren, Brooke and Logan; his brothers, Gerald (Marilyn Dahlberg) and Daniel Dahlberg; his siblings-in-law, Mary Claire (Joseph Sitek) and James (Victoria Wagner); and also, Mary and Kathy. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A prayer will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Dougherty Funeral Home (600 E 2nd St, Duluth, MN 55805). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel at St. Scholastica Monastery (1200 Kenwood Ave, Duluth, MN 55811). A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (4820 Howard Gnesen Rd, Duluth, MN 55803).
