He was predeceased by: his parents, Winslow Sailstad and Helen Sailstad; and his wife Mavis. He is survived by: his sons, Chris (Karie) and Mike; his grandson Noah (Tiffany); his siblings, Bob (Marlene), Nancy Schulenberg (Bob) and Rick Sailstad (Jody Ondich); and his brother-in-law Rob Anseth. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and great nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Minnesota Lions Vision Foundation.
