She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Barton and Alma Barton; her husband Jim; her son James; and her sisters, Katherine Schuster, Marion Tilly, Bea Oberlander and Eleanor Hadley.
She is survived by: her children, Lori Kaess (Michael) of Andover, MN, Mary Koepke (Butch) of Duluth, Kathy Goldschmidt (Steve) of Duluth and Thomas Hoppenyan (Donika) of Ft. Myers, FL; and her brother James Barton (Gloriann) of Superior, WI. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church (610 99th Ave W, Duluth, MN 55808). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
