She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Mercier and Theresa Mercier (Jaque); her husband Henry Thees; and her siblings, Percy Mercier, James Mercier, Ralph Mercier and Dorothy Legros.

She is survived by: her daughter Linda Carroll; her stepdaughter Claire Grall; her grandchildren, Stanley Carroll, Nicole Hill, Matthew Weber, John Paul Seybold and Cathy Seybold; and her great grandchildren, Ashley Whyerts, Miah and Dante Hill. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
