He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul A. Shykes and Eleanor R. Shykes; his wife Sharon Louise Kehoe; and his siblings, Mary, Philip and Mark.
He is survived by: his children, Julee Ellefsen (Randy), Beth Chesley (Robert), Paul and Amy Smith (Bruce); his grandchildren, Derek, Ashlee, Andrew, Eric, Paul Jr., Nolan and Luke; his great grandchildren, Sophia, Brynlee, Brayden and Kylah; his siblings, Paulette, Chuck and Bob; and his pet Hollee. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
