He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Giegling and Matilda Giegling; and his brothers, Richard, Dale and Don Giegling (Sondra).

He is survived by: his significant other Sondra; and his children, Scott Allen Giegling of Superior, WI and Stacey Lynn Askelson (Giegling). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
