He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Fitzgerald and Agnes Fitzgerald; his sisters, Colleen Hansen and Kathleen Miner; and his brother-in-law Keith Hansen (Sandy Hansen).
He is survived by: his wife Maria; his son Charles; his daughter-in-law Katie; his grandsons, Owen Patrick and Charlie Gerard; his brother Michael Fitzgerald (Marion); and his brother-in-law William Miner. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews; 12 great-nieces and nephews, a great-great-niece and nephew and many cousins.
