It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nettie Jean Walters (Duluth, Minnesota), who passed away on January 27, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Gerard and Verna Gerard; her husband Jim; her son Glenn; her brothers, Don and Sonny; and her brothers-in-law, Skip Bourman and Stan Thompson.
She is survived by: her sisters, Joan Bourman and Barbara Thompson; her children, Debbie Goossen (Ken), Jeff Hoyum (Lori) and James Walters Jr. (Becky Alm); her grandchildren, Courtney Gallo (Giorgio), Joel Carlson (Brooke), Joshua Hoyum, Christian Hoyum and Max Walters; her great grandchild Sully Kile; and her granddaughters, Carrie Kibler and Emily Geissler. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cremation Society of Minnesota - Duluth (4100 Grand Ave, Duluth, MN 55807). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
