Michael Allen Scott Obituary

Michael Scott, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend passed away on July 6, 2023 in a motorcycle accident in Duluth MN at the age of 62.

Michael was born December 15, 1961 to Elsie and Ralph Scott in Ely, MN. He graduated from Babbitt High School in 1979 and served 9 years in the US Navy. After his service years, he was a truck driver for many years. Recently, he became a Corrections Officer with the State of MN.

Michael was a free spirit and a friend to many. He loved being with family and friends and was often the life of the party. He was passionate about sports, playing softball in the summer and bowling in the winter. He loved traveling the open road on his Harley or in a Peterbilt.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Elsie & Ralph. He is survived by his fiance Karin Mobilia of Duluth, MN, sister Rhonda Raskovich (John) of Chisholm, MN and brother Gary Scott (Pam) of Farmington, MN, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, friends and fur companion Rocky.

A celebration of Michael's life will be planned at a later date. He was truly loved and will be deeply missed. RIP Michael.
