He was predeceased by: his father Mikkel Pero; his stepmother Charlene; his cousin Sharrie; and his grandparents, Anthony, Avis, Elwin and Myrtle.

He is survived by: his mother Eileen Brunette (Larry); his brother Mark Pero (Tanya); and his nephew Archie. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts and cousins.
