He is survived by: his parents, Kevin Maurer and Linda Maurer; his children, Eli Matthew and Aika Lynn; his wife Sakura; his sisters, Leah MacLeod (Sean) and Marie Harke (Dan); his mother-in-law Aiko Sprecher; his brother-in-law James Sprecher (Yuki); and his nieces and nephews, Gavin, Sienna, Louise, Sylvia, Sena, Jin and Nina. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many friends.
