Mary Lou touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid Mary Lou farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Mary Lou is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Schwering and Ruth Schwering; her son Mark Graffunder; and her son-in-law Phillip Lundsten. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Larsen; her stepchildren, Sharon Larsen and Craig Larsen; and her children, Steven Graffunder (Mary), Bruce Graffunder (Mary) and Rebecca Graffunder-Lundsten. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Alphonsus Catholic Church (7025 Halifax Ave N, Minneapolis, MN 55429). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
