Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Marlene leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward John Loonam and Dagney Violet Borin; and her brother Derald DeClute. She is survived by: her husband Loren E. Smith; her children, Rachel Messer, Sheri Lombardi, Joy Smith, Rory Smith, Jeanne Abrahamson and Kandi Anderson; and her siblings, Richard Niemi, Ed Niemi and Sheila Mattson. She is also survived by loving extended family including numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
