She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph T. Colt and Olive P. Colt; her brother John "Jack" Colt; her son William John Pettit; and her nephew Jim Askelson.
She is survived by: her sons, Thomas L. Pettit Jr. of Farmington, MN and Joseph R. Pettit (Lori) of Kenosha, WI; her siblings, Liz Askelson of Duluth, Joanne Olson (Don) of Babbitt, MN, William Colt (Phyllis) of Duluth and Joseph Colt (Carol) of Scanlon, MN; and her grandchildren, Catie, William, James, Billy, Joey, Megan and Emily. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
