Marcella Helen Royer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marcella Helen Royer of Duluth, Minnesota, who passed away on April 19, 2025 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Hansen and Mary Hansen; her husband Rollie; her sister Fern Gross; her great grandchild Dustin Newton; and her great great grandchild David Lafontaine.
She is survived by: her daughter Marlene Lunke (Gerald) of Duluth; her granddaughters, Jodie Lunke of Duluth, Diana McCollum (Mike) of Hudson, WI and Mary Wotruba (Frank) of Duluth; her great grandchildren, Jessica Sortland (Dane) of Oahu, HI, Joshua McCollum (Meghan) of Plymouth, Cassaundra Lafontaine (Matt) of Duluth, Michael Wotruba of Duluth and Paul Wotruba of Duluth; and her niece Maryjo Gross of Castalian Springs, TN.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the God Lutheran Church (2431 W 3rd St, Duluth, MN 55806). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
