He was predeceased by: his wife Ingrid; his siblings, Gerald Smith and Myrna Knight; and his granddaughter Kari Brewer (Solem). He is survived by: his daughters, Barb Solem (Jim Rickel) of Culver and Connie Labuda (Mike) of Carlton; his granddaughter Rachel Micken (Brent) of Esko; his great grandchildren, Olivia Micken, Aubrey Micken and Parker Micken; his siblings, Yvonne Peterson, Peggy DeCaigny (Robert) and Albert Smith (Mary); and his sister-in-law Berty Smith.
