She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ek and Florence Ek; her husband Donald F. Anderson; and her siblings, Bob Ek and Linda Cooper.

She is survived by: her children, Wendy (David Larson), Julie (Bill Bohmert), Brian (Deb Ronding), Lorna (Larry Martin) and Leslie Ericksen. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, 2 brothers, 3 sisters and extended families & friends.

A reception was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cremation Society of Minnesota - Duluth (4100 Grand Ave, Duluth, MN 55807).
