Joana M. Heinen Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joana M. Heinen of Duluth, Minnesota, who passed away on December 31, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Kroll and Theresa Kroll (Schaeffer); her siblings, Ernest Kroll, Larry Kroll and Mary Kroll; her grandson Paul Heinen; and her son-in-law Jeffrey Michaud.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Michaud and Allen Heinen; her grandchildren, Ryan Heinen, Kyle Heinen and Alicia Kavajecz (Steven); and her caregiver Steven Broiher. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Downs Life Celebration Center (1902 N 34th St, Superior, WI 54880). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
