Jim Richard Loukes Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jim Richard Loukes of Duluth, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 13, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Louks and Toyne Nurmi; and his brothers, Roger and Ben Loukes. He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his daughters, Julie Ruikka and Diana Dennis (Darin); his grandchildren, Evan Ruikka, Elaine Sweiven (Nick) and Avery Bowes; his brother Kerry Louks (Joyce); and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Loukes, Claudia Godfrey and Pat Pohlman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Salvation Army.
